✿ A lawmaker working to protect the civil rights of all students in the very same district where they received life-changing disability services as a child.

✿ An artist and communicator volunteering their time on public projects focused on expanding equity, access, and inclusion in our libraries, parks, and transportation systems.

✿ A survivor of domestic violence, child abuse, and poverty wages who is nurturing seeds of change through relationship building, collaboration, and advocacy every single day.

✿ A life-long leader who got their start in public service on Hillsboro’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) as a teen; Dorian is now the first former YAC student to run for Hillsboro City Council.

“This is a historic moment for Hillsboro: Dorian’s candidacy is a shared story of resilience illustrating that when a community bands together to raise a leader, the people come first. This is the generational change we’ve been hungry for.”

– Nafisa Fai, Washington County Commissioner.

“As I leave city council, the only candidate I trust to listen and lead alongside community is Dorian. Dorian’s lived experience, quick thinking in ICE response and recovery, and their daily work that is getting homeless youth fed and housed makes me optimistic about the future. We need Dorian’s community-centered crisis leadership,”

– Olivia Alcaire, current Hillsboro City Councilor in Ward 3A seat
